Owned and operated by Veda Tupy Itaska Show Stables is a full service hunter jumper stable.

Offering Boarding, Lessons and Training.

Boarding

We keep our numbers low to provide a higher quality of care for the horses at our farm, averaging between 8-10 horses at a time. This includes boarders, as well as school horses.

Boarding includes a large box stall - approximately 12x12 with mats; we use pelleted bedding, as well as straw. Two-grain feedings are provided, with unlimited hay and water. Stalls are cleaned daily and the manure is removed from the property to help deter pests. Daily turnout is provided in our green fields, along with the use of arenas and tack area.

Veda Tupy is the owner operator and trainer at Itaska Show Stable.

I have over 20 years experience in the horse world, showing successfully as a JR. I took time out for college and returned to the sport as an assistant trainer at another farm. I have been the coach of the Binghamton University team for 8 years, bringing them up from the bottom, to a respectable team, with numerous successes. Three years ago the birth of my children inspired me to move on to bigger and better opportunities for myself as a professional, thus opening the door to my home farm. With the completion of the indoor ring and support of my family, it is up and running.

I like to treat each rider and each horse as an individual. I teach the correct foundations to hunt seat riding; I am a stickler for safety and a clean barn. I don't let students ride above their abilities, nor do I hold them back from success. I love what I do and it shows.

Lessons

Lessons are offered to the public in limited numbers. We work mostly with the Binghamton University Equestrian Team and our boarders. However, we do have several quality school horses with a wide range of abilities available.

Training

We work with young horses that need to be started, horses with issues that need to be worked out, and we take horses in for training. If you are interested in having your hunter or jumper shown by a professional, contact Veda. Veda has 15 years experience of showing and working with quality hunter jumpers.

Horses brought in for training, that can be used in the Binghamton University team practices, will receive discounts.

Big open stalls for happy horses!!
